Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller
The controller of your personal data is the PostNukes development team, reachable at
contact@postnukes.com.
2. What Data We Collect
- Account data — nickname (required), e-mail address (optional, used for password recovery).
- Game data — character stats, inventory, mission history, in-game transactions.
- Technical data — IP address (stored in server logs for up to 30 days), browser type, operating system.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
- Providing and operating the game service — contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Account security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Password recovery e-mails — sent only when explicitly requested by the user (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Cookies and Local Storage
- pn_landing_lang — stores your language preference (EN/PL). Expires after 1 year.
- pn_cookies_accepted — records that you accepted this notice. Stored in localStorage (no expiry, browser-side only).
- Session cookie — keeps you logged in during a game session. Expires when the browser is closed.
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies from third parties.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Server infrastructure is hosted on OVH (EU datacenter). Data does not leave the European Economic Area.
6. Data Retention
- Account and game data — retained for the lifetime of the account, or up to 2 years after the last login.
- Server logs (IP addresses) — deleted after 30 days.
- Password reset tokens — deleted immediately after use or after 1 hour of inactivity.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:
access your data,
rectify inaccurate data,
erase your account and all associated data,
restrict processing, and
data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at
contact@postnukes.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
PostNukes is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
